The 2017 Big Cat Encounter!

21 December 2016

CAT Publications is 30 years old, join us as we get ready for the 2017 Big Cat Encounter!

At CAT Publications, publishers of Meetings & Incentive Travel and, we have just reached an amazing milestone of 30 years in the business! It was January 1987 when the company was founded and 2017 will be a great year of celebration.

With our 2017 Big Cat Encounter campaign, we will celebrate our fantastic experiences, the amazing fun we have had and the journey we are still enjoying with the same three shareholders and directors who founded the company at the helm.

The celebrations will include competitions and prizes in print and online and a fund-raising partnership with The Big Cat Sanctuary – a UK charity devoted to the successful breeding of the beautiful endangered cats within the European Endangered Species Breeding Programme. The Big Cat Sanctuary has in excess of 50 cats including African lions, White lions, Amur leopards, North Chinese leopards, Snow leopards, Amur tigers, Sumatran tigers, Cheetah, Lynx, Fishing cats, Jaguars, Pallas cats, Pumas, Rusty Spotted cats, Jungle cats and Servals.

You will be invited to participate in online competitions with an accent on cats:

We will invite you to upload your favourite photos and videos of cats in action – funny or cute, wild or domestic, crazy or clever to win a range of monthly prizes starting with the opportunity to adopt a cat at the Big Cat Sanctuary. Other prizes include a night spent in one of the outstanding lodge accommodations at The Big Cat Sanctuary where you will enjoy a Big Cat Encounter with these amazing creatures. For every upload we receive, CAT Publications will donate £1 to The Big Cat Sanctuary to help conserve threatened wild cats.

We will test your industry knowledge with a web-based quiz offering more great prizes every month including a pair of fabulous Jimmy Choo shoes. At the end of the 12 month campaign, an overall winner will win the chance to stay at The Big Cat Sanctuary and experience a unique Big Cat Encounter!
